Nitrate Reduction System

The Nitrate reduction filter utilize a white bead strong base anion resin for the selective removal of nitrates. Often found in rural areas, nitrate levels should not exceed 10 mg/L. This is especially important for newborn infants of up to six months. Competing ions, especially sulfate should be accounted for when calculating capacity.
The Scale Arrest filter utilizes an NSF 42, NSF 60 certified clear bead media for scale and corrosion reduction. Also, iron is sequestered, preventing precipitation thus greatly improving the performance of the effluent water. The black granular coconut shell activated carbon is excellent for the removal of organic contaminants and chlorine. This is a superior multiple purpose filter cartridge.
