Introduction

The Center for Biofield Sciences and the Energy Medicine Research Institute collaborated on a project to study the effects of drinking different water structuring and charging techniques. There are two studies involved in the project. The first study used ionized water with an alkalinity of 8.5 pH. The second study evaluated ionized water charged with the Bio Disc, the Swedish Plus and Minus water funnel, the Q-Mag coil, and intention (health and vitality). The effects of structured and charged water were measured using the Poly-contrast Interference Photography (PIP), Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV), Heart Rate Variability (HRV), and Live Blood Analysis.

The Life 7600 Ionizer

The Life 7600 is a table-top electronic water treatment system. This device was plumbed into the Biofield lab in Louisville, CO. The water system with a double set of pre-filters and instructions were followed to produce ionized drinking water to a pH of 8.3- 8.5.

Plus-Minus Energy Balancer

The Plus-Minus funnel has recently been developed by a Swedish team of scientists in order to make the charging process portable as it sits in a bottle and is fed by water from any source. The funnel itself is made of stainless steel and interestingly, the water vortexes into the funnel and then travels through a series of small holes. The manufacturers report that the funnel is designed to energize and structure the water.

Q-MAG Coil

The Q-MAG coil is composed of a series of polarized copper links that alternate magnetic current. The coil is made of pure copper and the magnets are not artificially stabilized to produce the best quality biofield resonance. A bottle of water is placed on top of the Q-MAG coil for at least 30 seconds to charge the water.

Intention

Dr. Emoto Masaru has performed experiments using water that has been charged with music, words, and intention and monitored the formation of ice crystals when frozen. His findings reveal that the structure of the ice crystals are more symmetrical and beautiful with classical music, positive words (i.e. Thank you), and intention (i.e. love) as compared to rock music, negative words (i.e. “You are an idiot”), and intention (i.e. hate). In this experiment, water will be charged using the intention of improving health and vitality.

Methods

The Biofield Science laboratory evaluated study subjects using Polycontrast Interference Photography (PIP), Live Blood Analysis, Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV). On the first day of the study, a baseline reading from each evaluation technique was captured for research subjects.

Poly-contrast Interference Photography (PIP)

The PIP machine is a non-invasive, light analysis technology invented by Harry Oldfield. It requires bare skin to be exposed to a full spectrum controlled lighting environment. The absorption and reflection intensities of light off the skin are color coded and then analyzed. The PIP is most useful when analyzing the body itself for congestions that appear on the surface above the specific organ or part of the body being investigated. Typically it is understood that the body will absorb more or less light (i.e. reflect less) where it has issues, in comparison to the rest of the participant’s body. The PIP was used in this experiment to monitor areas of congestion while drinking water for 48 hours.

Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV)

GDV is a digital version of Kirlian photography invented by Konstantine Korotkov, which pulses a high voltage (very low current) electrical charge through a charge coupled device upon which each finger of the hand is placed. The image from each finger is then extrapolated out to represent a specific location on the body itself. The images produced are an artificially enhanced energy field print. It is a relatively transient image and no two images are ever exactly the same. The areas to pay attention to are those that change dramatically from the previous section, and areas excessively close or far away from the body itself. We often refer to distortion, cuts and field indications when analyzing images.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

Heart Rate Variability is the most accurate predictor of sudden cardiac death syndrome. It is also an unequivocal test for the functioning of the autonomic nervous system. It is calculated by measuring the ratio of parasympathetic (regenerative) to sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous systems and is accurately accessed via EKG measurements lying down and standing. Ultimately it produces information as to whether we are regenerating or degenerating. The HRV testing system provides two numbers, the first explains the functioning of the physiological systems (organ and other systems), the second represents the adaptability of the nervous system in particular. It is completely reproducible and is a real time measurement, in other words, a therapeutic intervention, such as charged water, can be introduced to the client then retested for efficacy.

Live Blood Cell Analysis

Live Blood Cell Analysis uses a phase contrast microscope to show a bright field image of living blood cells. This system is useful to show the quality and condition of the blood cells in real time. The purpose of using the microscope in a live-blood situation was to see how the differing types of water affected cell aggregation before and after drinking water for 48 hours to evaluate different water structure and charge.

Study 1: Structured Water

In the preliminary study, Four subjects drank alkaline water with a pH of 8.5. After baseline readings on PIP and GDV were measured, each subject was given enough water for 72 hours. Participants were asked to drink as much structured water as they normally drink on a daily basis. After three days the subjects returned to be re-evaluated.

Study 2: Charged Water

In the second study charged water was evaluated using the Plus and Minus water vortexing system, the Q-MAG coil, and intention (health and vitality). Seven research subjects participated in the charged water study. Three subjects drank alkaline water (pH 8.5) charged with the Q-MAG coil, four subjects drank alkaline water (pH 8.5) charged with the Plus and Minus vortexing system. Participants were scanned, given their specified water, and re-scanned after two days.

Results

Case Study 1: Structured Water

In the first study, subject MJ had the most dramatic results after drinking alkaline water (pH 8.5) for 72 hours. Using the PIP, Figure 1 shows the biofield of subject MJ at baseline having a healthy, vibrant, symmetrical field with some stress revealed in pink field around the head and at the solar plexus. There is also pooling of energy at the right shoulder and along the left arm. After 72 hours, the Figure 1 shows how after drinking alkaline water the biofield has brightened and symmetry has improved. The congestion around the head has cleared and also at the solar plexus. The arms and shoulder are brighter as is the chest and abdomen. The forehead is noticeably brighter and symmetrical. Asymmetry above the navel is as before but the navel chakra is clearer and brighter.

The GDV results for subject MJ also showed considerable improvement. The baseline reading of surface area and symmetry for MJ was 7777 and 40%, respectively; however, after drinking ionized water, the bio-photonic emission area and symmetry increased to 11238 and 75%. Figure 2 shows a visual representation of the aura generated by the GDV software.

Only two subjects had negative results in the study. One subject drinking alkaline water had a 1763 decrease in bio-photonic emission area with the GDV. The participant drinking electronically purified water had minor negative effects with a 1% decrease in biofield symmetry. No HRV or live blood analysis was performed prior to water consumption; therefore, no results are reported.

Case Study 2: Robert Chavez

The most dramatic change in study participants was observed with Robert Chavez. Two to three years prior to the study, Robert never drank water consistently. He typically drank soda, Vitamin water, Gatorade, and coffee; and it had also been approximately six months since he drank any water at all. He always suffered from headaches and took 12 Advil daily, 4 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, and another 4 at night. He also had heartburn and consumed a half a pack of Tums a day. After gathering baseline readings on the Poly-contrast Interference Photography (PIP) system, Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV), Heart Rate Variability (HRV), and Live Blood Analysis. (Please refer to the main document for a description of the scanning techniques.) The PIP results are displayed in Figure 3. A pink corona is surrounding his crown and, due to lack of symmetry in the abdomen and chest, congestion can be seen in his digestive region and respiratory region. On the side view, you can see congestion on the right side of his head, possibly due to dehydration and/or cell phone radiation.

Robert was given two gallons of alkaline water (pH 8.5) to drink over the next 48 hours. He was told to only drink as much as he normally would on a daily basis in replace of soda. After two days, he was re-scanned with the PIP which is displayed in Figure 4. In the photo you can still see asymmetry in his chest, but the abdomen is noticeably more symmetrical than baseline reading.

The following three day study involved charged water. Robert was given alkaline water charged with the Plus and Minus vortexing system. The PIP scans after 72 hours can be seen in Figure 5. The images show continuing asymmetry in his chest, increased symmetry in his abdomen and right eye, and activity at the throat and navel.

We ran another two day study of Robert drinking the same alkaline vortexed water as before, then re-scanned him. His PIP images after continuing to drink the charged water can be seen in Figure 6. He expressed a significant improvement in symmetry at the solar/navel region. His throat is affected and his eyes and brow are centered.

In monitoring the congestion on the right side of Robert’s head, we noticed that after drinking water the congestion began to clear within the eight days of the study as seen in Figure 7. The congestion on the right side of his head could be what caused Robert to have severe headaches on a daily basis due to dehydration, or possibly excessive cell phone use. By the end of the study, the congested red energy had dissipated into a positive flowing green energy.

Robert's progress throughout the study was also monitored using GDV. His baseline reading had an area of 15003 and symmetry of 90%. After drinking alkaline water for three days, his area increased to 19535 with a total increase of 4532, with no change in symmetry. After drinking vortex charged alkaline water for three days, Robert’s area decreased to 18402 for a total decrease of 1133; however, his symmetry increased to 94%. He drank the same water for another two days and his final scan area increased to 21977 with a symmetry of 97%. Figure 8 shows the GDV representation of the change of biophotonic emissions of Robert throughout the study.

Heart Rate Variability measurements were also conducted throughout the study. Robert’s baseline reading was 10 on functionality on a scale of 1 to 13, where 1 is optimal function. He also received a 5 with respect to adaptability on a scale of 1 to 7, where 1 is optimal adaptability. On Day Six, Robert’s functionality increased to a score of 9 and his adaptability increased to a score of 3. Overall, a significant increase of heart functionality and adaptability was observed.

The Live Blood Analysis performed on Robert throughout the study is displayed in Figure 9. Robert’s baseline blood sample is a perfect example of erythrocyte aggregation. The crystal in the lower left corner is due to a uric acid. Since Robert’s diet consisted of a steady consumption of soda, the phosphoric acid of the soda overstressed the kidney. Over time his kidney was not able to break down the acid faster than he was drinking the soda, so particles can be seen in the blood. By the third day of the study, the cells had better separation due to increase in water intake; however, there is still mild erythrocyte aggregation and undigested fats and sugars in the blood. On Day Six, there was no significant change in cell structure and composition.

In summary, he was put on alkaline water, and it made a significant improvement over his baseline after five days of consumption. However, after drinking the vortex charged alkaline water for two more days. Robert has shown improvements in all of the scans performed in the study. The numerical results were not as remarkable as the personal testimony reported by Robert himself. He stopped taking Advil two days after being involved in the study and stopped taking Tums five days into the study. He no longer has headaches or heartburn since he exchanged sodas for water. He no longer drinks coffee. The study has also inspired Robert to start eating more fruits and vegetables.

Case Study 3: Subject SS

Participant SS had interesting results from drinking alkaline water (pH 8.5) charged with the Plus and Minus vortexing system for two days. After drinking water charged with the participants intention of health and vitality, subject SS showed considerable improvement on the Live Blood Analysis.

The PIP scans for subject SS are shown in Figure 10. In the baseline PIP scan of subject SS, there is clear definition over the heart and navel chakra with slight pooling and congestion. After drinking charged water for two days, there was an improvement in symmetry of the heart and navel chakra with less congestion.

Subject SS had a baseline GDV reading with an area of 20711 and 89% symmetry. After three days of drinking vortex charged alkaline water the area increased 5153 to 25864 with a 3% increase in symmetry. After drinking spring water charged with the intention of health and vitality, subject SS’s area decreased 2505 and symmetry decreased 1%. Figure 11 shows the GDV results of subject SS throughout the study.

The Live Blood Analysis results for subject SS are shown in Figure 12. Initially, the cells are misshapen and there is evidence of protein linkage, bacteria and fungal forms. After drinking alkaline water charged with the Plus and Minus vortexing system for 72 hours, the blood expressed rouleau and liver stress is observed. The second portion of the study, Subject SS drank spring water charged with the intention of health and vitality and her blood returned to normal.

Conclusion

Many of the subjects displayed mild erythrocyte aggregation, undigested sugars with fungus, and a lack of red blood cell integrity. Many participants also had misshapen red blood cells, most likely due to B-Vitamin assimilation issues, and mineral deficiencies. It is clear that subjects who drank ionized water have interesting results. It improved the biofield of those who were already in good health dramatically, yet in one case, it seemed to aggravate the symptoms. Someone whose health was already comprised had negative results with respect to live blood analysis, although the readings with the other techniques of GDV and PIP did improve.

The logistics of getting water to each participant was challenging and future studies need to have an efficient system so that the pH does not deplete over time. For a more accurate study to be performed, we would need to increase the number of study subjects, have the subject record daily water intake, perform urine analysis before and after drinking different water types, and measure pH and surface tension of each type of water. Further studies are necessary to understand the effects of drinking structured and charged water.
