According to a study done by Harvard university, the answer is No. If you live in any of California’s cities, chances are good Tap water in California suffers from serious water quality problems that your water is contaminated with unsafe levels of polyfluoroalkyl and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The Harvard study revealed that PFAS contamination is at unacceptable levels in 33 states, not just California. However,  PFAS contamination is the  worst in California.  PFAS chemicals are potent immunotoxins, so if you’re struggling with immune system disorders, and you live in California, your tap water may slowly be killing you. PFAS isn’t... Read More »

Flint Michigan isn’t alone in suffering from toxic tap water, Chicago has it’s share of lead-tainted water as Chicago has toxic tap water thanks to lead, PFOA/PFOS and hexavalent chromium six well. Plus, in Chicago, just like Flint, the city and state has been trying to hide it’s toxic tap water from city residents. In what can only be called an act of depraved indifference, Chicago has been hiding the fact that very high levels of lead have been found in that city’s’ tap water. Compounding this problem is that toxic levels of Perfluoroalkyls, (PFOA and PFOS) have also been found in Chicago’s tap water. Americans need to wake up... Read More »

Many people believe that their water supply is safe because the EPA has rules to protect them from any toxic Whole home filtration is your only defense against PFOA and PFOS chemicals that may be found in water supplies. But research conducted by the EPA itself proves that assumption is wrong – dangerously wrong. According to the EPA, dangerous levels of two unregulated and highly toxic chemicals, poly- and perfluoroalkyl compounds (PFOA and PFAS) have been detected in the drinking water supplies of millions of American homes. Worse yet, PFOA and PFAS exposure has been linked to high cholesterol and obesity, both of which  are widespread... Read More »

It depends. According to the Mineralogical Society of America: “A mineral substance is defined as a Water is a mineral, except when it isn’t naturally occurring, homogeneous solid, inorganically formed, with a well defined chemical composition (or range of compositions), and an ordered atomic arrangement, that has been formed by geological processes, either on earth or in extraterrestrial bodies.” A mineral is a solid substance, so water in liquid form isn’t a mineral. Water in solid form is a mineral if it is naturally occurring. This means that the ice that forms during the winter is a mineral, but the ice that forms in your ice... Read More »

The Clean Water Act is an EPA rule that protects the quality of many sources of water that ultimately supply Whole home filtration protects you from toxic chemicals in your water wells and municipal water utilities. Unfortunately, the Clean Water Act is going to be scrapped. There are also large cuts in Federal spending on the way that will limit your local water utilities ability to filter out those toxins. Those cuts will make an already bad situation worse: Water infrastructure all across the country is crumbling due to neglect, and many cities’ water systems are already woefully inadequate to deal with pollution problems that are getting... Read More »

According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), potentially dangerous levels of Chromium 6 has Chromium 6 is in your water – and its a silent killer been found in the tap water of over 200 million Americans. Most of the contaminated tap water is found in cities, so if you live near a city, your water is most likely contaminated. Research conducted by the Environmental Working Group suggests that at current levels of contamination, roughly 12,000 people will get cancer from drinking the tainted water. But even that may underestimate the risk: Chromium 6 is readily absorbed through the skin, and through the lungs when inhaled as a vapor... Read More »

About six million people in 33 states are being poisoned by their tap water. The culprit is perfluorinated Whole home filtration is the only method that will protect your from PFOA and PFOS compounds – perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) – which are used to make Teflon and some plastics.. These chemicals have been linked to obesity, cancer, hormone disruption, and high cholesterol levels. According to Xindi Hu, the lead researcher at Harvard where the problem was studied: “For many years, chemicals with unknown toxicities, such as PFASs, were allowed to be used and released to the environment, and... Read More »

The EPA has proposed a massive increase in the allowable levels of radiation in drinking water supplies The EPA plans to allow a massive increase in radiation in drinking water during nuclear ‘incidents’ during radiation contamination incidents. Despite the fact that there is no known safe level for radiation in drinking water, the EPA has proposed increases of up to 10,000 times the current limits for some radionuclides in the event of nuclear “accidents”. Diane D’Arrigo, of the Nuclear Information and Resource Service, says: “These levels are even higher than those proposed by the Bush Administration—really unprecedented... Read More »

A new study by Duke University has revealed that leakage of carbon dioxide injected deep underground to Carbon sequestration makes water acidic, which leads to increased groundwater pollution help fight climate change is turning up in drinking water aquifers near the surface, spiking the levels of contaminants found in the water tenfold or more in some places. Governments and industry are turning to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in an effort to prevent carbon from entering the atmosphere and contributing to global warming. CCS captures the carbons produced by oil refineries, factories, or power plants and stores it deep below Earth’s... Read More »

Imagine tap water so toxic that it might actually burn your skin off. This water pollution nightmare has PFOA water pollution spreads rapidly and is especially harmful to children and pregnant women become a reality for residents of Hoosick Falls, NY after residents there discovered that their water has been contaminated with high levels of PFOA, a chemical used to make teflon. Terrified residents are rushing to have their blood tested, banks are refusing to lend money for mortgages in the area, and parents are afraid to send their children to school. What is PFOA? Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) is a toxic chemical that has been linked to cancer,... Read More »
