There is always a price to pay when convenience comes into the picture. But are the results really worth this choice? People who travel a lot are one example. Let us look at the specifications of the average portable unit and the composition of the water that they produce.
Portable units which add mineral drops or mineral balls basically just raise the pH of the water and make it more alkaline. These units do not address ionization which occurs during electrolysis which requires current, either alternating or direct. Adding any substance to a water source will not significantly purify, filter out heavy metals, create a negative ORP(oxidation-reduction potential) or micro-cluster the water. These three very important components are the essence of what I term biological appropriate water.
