Doctors measure the rate that you are losing bone by measuring the levels of two enzymes in the blood: C-telopeptides (CTX) and serum parathyroid hormone (PTH). Alkaline water for blood sugar problems has shown promise in studies on mice. Currently, we can’t find any clinical trials on humans, so we can’t make any recommendations. The study found that the patients who consumed the Mediterranean diet and alkaline water found the same or better level of relief as 85 other patients that took PPI drugs such as Nexium.
You should drink two or more liters per day of alkaline water with a pH of 8.8 or higher. For best results, you should replace your entire intake of water with alkaline water (except with meals) this includes making your coffee or tea with alkaline water. Clinical testing performed on 52 healthy male volunteers revealed that alkaline water can raise blood pH by 40 - 70%, restoring it to healthy levels, when the body is in a condition called metabolic acidosis: A condition where the blood pH temporarily drops below safe levels. How to make and use alkaline water plus electrolytes for the ultimate sports drink
Before workout: Use alkaline water with the highest pH and antioxidant ORP you can get. This will be level 4 on your alkaline water machine. Post workout: A clinical study conducted at Montana State University compared the rehydration rates for cyclists subjected to a dehydrating bout of cycling when they drank alkaline water versus when those same cyclists drank plain water. The researchers found that drinking alkaline water produced: "significantly less urine output, a tendency for more water to be retained in the blood, and a higher overall water retention rate over the placebo water".
