Water Ionizer Pre-Filters & Replacements
In addition to whole home water systems, Lifeionizers Water offers a wide variety of specialty pre-filters designed to handle virtually any water quality problem, and work directly in concert with your ionizing system. Chances are your ionizer will work just fine on your existing water supply. However, for those customers who live in an area with poor water quality or have a particular concern about certain substances in their water, specialty filters have been designed to remove a wide variety of constituents. We have assembled a list of commonly used pre-filters for customers using Water Ionization Systems. The list includes the function of the filter, approximate capacity and retail price. On the initial purchase, a Filter and Housing (pressure vessel that holds the filter) is needed. When replacement is due in future years, all that is needed is a new Filter. In addition, replacement filters for your ionizer are also available here.
Prior to purchasing any water filtration system, consumers should have an understanding of their current water quality. In many cases, it is prudent to have specific water quality information for each customer. In most cases, water quality information is available on the Internet, Contact Us to begin the process.
If not, our team of water professionals are available to help you design the appropriate in-home water testing parameters, send you sample bottles, provide sampling protocol and submit the water to a well-qualified laboratory for independent analysis (Laboratory Testing). The data will be reviewed by our water treatment experts and the system designed then built by qualified technicians with decades of experience in the water industry. The filter housings measure 10” X 2.5” and can be installed either on the countertop or under the counter.
Replacement of the filter built-in to the ionizer requires periodic replacement. Filter life indicators are different depending upon the ionizer you own. Micro Lite filters need to be replaced when the filter life indicator lights progress to red. For the Melody, “9999” on the digital display means it is time for a new filter. The two filter options available are virtually the same composition except that the .01 micron filter is designed for additional bacteria and cyst protection. To ensure optimal performance, maintenance of the Ionization Chamber is available in accordance with the manufacturers recommendation. White vinegar is circulated then flushed through your ionizer which is followed by an operational test to ensure the ionizer is functioning properly at a cost of $89.99 plus $20 for shipping and handling.
To order any of our filters or if you are experiencing a problem not listed above, our Engineers can custom design a pre-filter for virtually any water quality problem. To contact our sales staff please call 800-578-5939 and ask for Rick Cabados or Geoff Poole or email us.
