In business there is competition....and competition is a good thing when it provides better products and better service to the consumer.

Here at LIFE Ionizers we choose to be of service to our fellow human beings. We strive to educate, make the best products, and provide the best service - all at a fair price.

We are concerned that Enagic/Kangen is resorting to personal attacks against the founder of LIFE Ionizers. We will address the most important of these allegations and understand that they are only reacting out of fear. We will have compassion for them and forgive them.

They know not what they do.

First Allegation:
"The investigation started with extensive Internet based research about Life Ionizer. Researchers started at the home pages of Life Ionizers, there are actually two separate websites, www.LifeIonizer.com and www.LifeIonizers.com."

Response:
Of course we have two separate sites. One is for our LIFE Dealers which is the template for our hundreds of independent distributors. The other is the Company site where we educate and provide products to the public.

Second Allegation:
"The next discovery was that the name "Life Ionizer", which is extensively used and promoted on the Internet as the company name, is not the company name. The official company name is EarthTrade Water."

Response:
"Life Ionizer" is the official United States Patent and Trademark Office trademarked name of our line of home ionizers. EarthTrade Water is a separate company that handles the design, manufacture, importation and distribution of "Life Ionizers". They attempt to make this sound like it is something unusual. Do you think General Motors calls all of their products "General Motors"?. This is a very silly attack. EarthTrade manufactures and distributes other products and none of them are called "EarthTrade" - they have their own trademarked names. We have other products that we have designed, invented, patented or distribute - these go from magnetic insoles, for which we hold the US Patent; to Magnetic Yoga Mats (patent-pending); to LIFE Detox Patches (patent-pending); to EMF Protection headsets; and to commercial ionizers for agriculture and bottling plants.

Third Allegation:
"According to a Better Business Bureau report on EarthTrade Water, the so called "team of experts" consists of 2 employees, Rick Cabados, listed as the Owner, and another unnamed individual."

Response:
Obviously they have outdated information. We now have 41 employees, as a new Product Manager has now been added to the team. EarthTrade was a division created exclusively to handle our water filtration division and importation of new products and technologies.

This is a picture of our International Headquarters in Carlsbad, California. Some of the employees are at this facility while others are located in other facilities in the U.S.; U.K.; and other countries.

Fourth Allegation:
"The next item was the representation that Life Ionizers is the "exclusive manufacturers" of the Life Ionizer products, which was found on the www.lifeionizer.com website. Being the "exclusive manufacturers" not only does not correspond with the fact that the company only has 2 employees, but it also completely contradicts information provided on the www.lifeionizers.com website."

Response:
When we say we are the exclusive manufactures of LIFE Ionizers, that statement is correct. We have the chips, the circuit boards, the titanium plates, the UV Light Technology and other features designed specifically for us. No one else has LIFE Ionizers manufactured for them..only we do. We have exclusive contracts with engineers and manufacturing facilities to create our LIFE alkaline water ionizers. This is the same way Enagic handles their manufacturing. Again, another silly argument.

Fifth Allegation:
Kangen/Enagic claims that we are not listed in the UL Certification Directory.

Response:
Again, since we use manufacturing facilities in South Korea that are contracted to build our units, the certificates are under their name.
And here is the hypocritical fact:
When you do a search on the UL Certification Directory for Kangen or Enagic http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/index.htm

Sixth Allegation:
They state that we have a Five (5) year warranty but it is not a full five years.

Response:
Our older models had a Five (5) year warranty with three years parts and labor and two additional years of labor - they now have a full Five (5) year warranty with all parts and labor. Our new 2008 models (LIFE 7500 and 8000) have new technologies that are designed to make them perform better and have the following warranty:
"5 year warranty : LIFE Ionizers latest high technology systems are so well-built that we confidently offer Full Five (5) Years Warranty with all parts and labor."

Seventh Allegation:
Enagic states that Rick H Cabados has other Internet sites under different names and goes on to list a variety of websites... some are ours and others belong to people unknown to us.

Response:
Of course I have other Internet websites. I have "product specific" websites for juicers and supplements and EMF products and more. I started over twelve (12) years ago promoting health and well-being on the Internet. We have a Doctor on staff who writes health articles and we research and sell millions and millions of dollars of health products every year that benefit people worldwide.

Eight Allegation:
Enagic brings up complaints from the Better Business Bureau.

Response:
EarthTrade Water has never received a complaint from the Better Business Bureau, but Enagic has.
Some of my other businesses have had some complaints over the last 36 months, but we have also had 108,523 customers over that period. That's a very large amount of customers and we made the vast majority of them happy and healthy - that's a 99.98% Satisfaction Rate!

Ninth Allegation:
Ah, here comes the real motivation behind their attack on me personally. At the end of all of these ridiculous allegations, they lay on the marketing claims that they have the best ionizer.

Response:
Come on Enagic.

LIFE Ionizers comes out with new models at least once a year - we do this because we believe in technological innovation. We believe that our customers want Value - which means the best quality; the latest technologies; the best results ; and fair prices. We are not an MLM Company out to make money from a "product". We are a Health Company that has been around twelve (12) years serving you because we believe we can make a difference. And we do...every day with quality products and helpful service.
